IIMC has its main project site office at the IIMC Indoor Centre, Tegharia, Sonarpur, Kolakta – 700150, about 30 Km from South East from the City Centre. From a modest begining in 1989, today IIMC is working with a small 20 beds hospital, an education centre, a women's cooperative unit, and a mother’s Bank and Micro finance unit for poor mothers. The Tegharia Centre is its base. The IIMC conducts its various educational, medical, health & economical uplifting activities in the surrounding remote villages of South 24-Parganas as well as in West Bengal.
Currently, IIMC operates:

• 5 Outdoor Clinics (red)
• 5 Micro Finance Banks (blue)
• 23 Schools (yellow)
• 2 Agriculture Projects (green)
