Women Peace Council

Background

Everybody knows that no idol/figure can be created to represent “peace”. Even if it can be created then it can be figure out only in women. The only reason behind it is the motherly nature of women. Mother destroys all of our sinful acts. So, who is having such tremendous power, she can only be the idol of “peace”. Today the overall situation of the whole world is horrible. In my opinion to overcome such horrible situation women should come forward with all of their power to save our society. To bring back peace in our society women have to accumulate their moral strength. I wish the women should carry out the responsibility of maintaining peace.
               -“Acharya Bonoba Vabe”

Empowering women socially, culturally and intellectually

Though we are representing women as the symbol of peace and power since the beginning of our civilization, but our social environment and activities are making a hindrance to the women who want to advance in their lives. Even after such hindrance and problems women are now showing their abilities and competing with the males in their lives. We know about many famous female writers, artists, scientists and professionals who are well established in their field. The IIMC Women Peace Council is formed with an aim that the empowerment of women should not be limited to the urban centers; it should extend to the rural villages as well. Women in the villages must fight for their right to establish themselves as social actors and prove themselves as competent. They must regain their self confidence in a non violent way and learn that they have the capacity to be leaders.
