International Cooperation & IIMC working together for Poor & Sick People

IIMC-Mission, One Remarkable and Encourageous Support for Rural Poor People.


IIMC-Mission is working for the developments of rural poor people in the different islands of Sundarban, Delta of River Ganges.

Last few years IIMC-Mission with all friends Wild Wide has extended extensive support to improve the situation of rural poor people. IIMC with its 8 different medical centres & 40 rural networks units has covered treatments of 130,000 sick people (in 1 year) and 7000 child are attending in the schools.

Medical assistance, child education, women issues & social empowerments are the main issues; we are covering as our regular activities. Apart from the medical, educational & social supports many instances are life saving and making big difference.

1. Case Study

Nargis one of the poor child of her parent. They have three daughters. Eldest one is the patient of spondilocis, second one has some problems of heart disease and last one poor Nargis had no anus opening (Congenital Malformation).

 


 

1st Surgery is Done

She was passing stool by her vaginal opening. But it was very painful.

Nargis was identified in IIMC-outdoor and was brought to indoor. It was clear that surgical intervention is urgent; Dr. Brahmochary informed the medical team that support will be available for her surgery with the help of good friends.

2008 International Year of Sanitation

 

WATER SANITATION & LIFE: United Nation declared "The goal of Spotlight 2008 as the international year of SANITATION.
Fostering sanitation will help to SAVE LIFE, and will accelerate Social development, specially in rural and remote areas. In India 80% people are living in rural areas and this rural areas 90% people have no any access to medical service, 60% people can't read & write, 40% people are living Below Poverty Level (BPL) considering all those difficulties and responding with UN call for sanitation.
IIMC-Mission is in determination to response and act for the implementation sanitation programme for the remote & rural villages.

 

Sanitation is vital for Human Health, Clean Environment contributes to social and human development & 80% of rural diseases are water born which can be preened by improved sanitary system.
Safe water supply Removal of disposal & proper Latrin construction will be the primary task.
In 2008 IIMC-Mission is constructing several concrete sanitary latrins and will set up Deep Tube well We are thankful to our all supporting friends to take a definite step for fund rising and giving us all the support to implement this programme. in different villages of West Bengal.
One toilet will give medical safely and social dignity for one family, women & girls member of the family will get privacy and human dignity.
